Editing a Custom Application Connector

This topic describes the procedure to edit a custom application connector.

Before you begin this task:
Configure a custom connector.

You can change the configuration details such as logging categories, startup dependencies, and registered Web service implementation of the custom application connectors in the connector editor window.

  1. In the My Recent Documents or Explorer view of the Workspace Documents window, double-click the connector. For information about changing the view, see Working with Workspace Documents. The <Application Connector Name>-Application Connector window appears.
  2. In the <Application Connector Name>-Application Connector window, you can do one of the following .
    • Change the connector details
      1. Click (Quick Access Menu) > Properties .
      2. In the General tab of the Properties - Document Properties dialog box, change the necessary details and click OK.
    • Change the configuration details. For more information on the parameters, refer to Configuration Parameters for Custom Connector.
  3. Click .
  4. Publish the updated connector to make it available for the current organization. You can publish in one of the following ways:
    • In the Quick Access Menu, select Publish option.
    • In the Explorer view of the Workspace Documents window , right-click the connector and select Publish to Organization option.
  5. Change the necessary details and click .

    The connector details are modified.

    Note: If you wish to delete a connector, do one of the following:
  • In the My Recent Documents view - Mouse over the connector and click beside the connector name. Select Delete option on the context menu.
  • In the Explorer view - Go to the connector, right-click it and select Delete option.
